Bridgend Sunday Netball Update - Week 1

A Great Start to the Season at the Bridgend Sunday Social Netball League

The new season of the Bridgend Sunday Social Netball League got off to a fantastic start, with plenty of energy, teamwork and smiles across the courts. It was brilliant to see both new and returning teams back in action and enjoying the first week of games.

Goal Patrol made a strong start in their match against Goals Aloud, working well together to secure a 22–1 win. Their communication and teamwork were clear to see, while Goals Aloud kept their spirits high and showed great determination throughout.

Game Of Throws also found their rhythm early on, linking up well to finish 20–4 against Netballerz. It was great to see some lovely passages of play and positive encouragement from both sides.

Baywatch Ballers had a particularly impressive evening, combining solid defence with confident shooting to come away with an 18–2 result against Nets In The City. A special mention goes to Brianna Richards, whose fantastic performance earned her Player of the Week. Her movement, accuracy and positive energy made a real impact on court.

With the first week complete, it’s clear this season is set to be full of fun, friendship and great netball. It’s already brilliant to see teams supporting one another and building confidence as the weeks go on.
