Play in the Gloucester Sunday You Play Netball League

It was another enjoyable week of netball in the Gloucester Sunday league, as teams took to the court for week six of the season. There were some great performances on show, with players demonstrating strong teamwork, skill, and commitment. A special mention goes to Kirsten Morris of Throw And Go, who was awarded Most Valued Player of the Week for her outstanding efforts.

One of the closest matches saw Net Ninjas take on Throw And Go in a tightly contested game. Both teams battled hard throughout, with Net Ninjas edging a narrow 8–7 victory. Despite the result, Kirsten Morris delivered an excellent performance, making a strong contribution for Throw And Go and standing out on court.

The other fixture of the day featured Goal Diggers against Pitch Slap. Pitch Slap put in a confident display, securing an 18–8 win through consistent attacking play and good movement across the court. Goal Diggers showed determination and resilience, continuing to compete right to the final whistle.

As the season progresses, the Gloucester Sunday league continues to provide competitive but friendly netball each week. Teams are growing in confidence, individual performances are shining through, and the competition remains open and exciting.
