Gloucester Sunday night netball - week 1
Throw And Go team triumph over Net Ninjas with a 5-3 victory. In another closely contested match, Block It Like Its Hot edged out Ball Of Fame in a nail-biting 9-7 win. The most noteworthy match of the evening was undoubtedly between Pitch Slap and Goal Diggers. Pitch Slap emerged victorious with a 13-9 score line.
Taking centre stage this week was Helen Akinson, the star player from Goal Diggers, whose skilful performance earned her the title of the most valued player of the week. Akinson’s performance under pressure was awe-inspiring, demonstrating outstanding agility and strategic skill, setting the bar exceptionally high for the weeks to come.
The league has just started, yet it's already promising a thrilling season with its opening match-ups.
