Chesterfield Tuesday Week 1 - 19/5/26

The opening night of the Chesterfield Tuesday League Netball season got off to a fantastic start, with plenty of exciting moments and great teamwork on display. Week one brought some strong performances across the league and set the tone for what promises to be a fun and enjoyable season ahead.

Hasland Hoppers and Sharp Shooters also treated spectators to an entertaining game, with Hasland Hoppers securing a 14-8 victory. Both sides played with energy and determination, making for a brilliant contest from start to finish.

In one of the evening’s matches, Shoot Happens came away with an 8-2 win over Kiss My Pass. Both teams showed great effort throughout the game, with some excellent defending and shooting on display.

The night also saw a standout individual performance from Hannah Shelley of Ring Leaders, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her skill, teamwork, and positive attitude on court made her a deserving recipient of the award.

As the season moves forward, all teams will be looking to build confidence, develop their combinations, and enjoy more competitive netball each week. With such a strong opening round, there’s plenty for players and supporters to look forward to.
