Telford Tuesday YouPlay Netball League 2026-01-27

The Telford Tuesday You Play Netball League was back in action this week, and week five brought plenty of smiles, teamwork, and great netball moments across the courts.

It was another lively evening with teams enjoying the chance to get stuck in, cheer each other on, and soak up the buzzing league atmosphere. Let’s take a look at how the night unfolded.

“Just Wing It” had a fantastic game against “Spice Goals,” moving the ball beautifully and enjoying every minute on court as they finished with a 17–1 scoreline. A big shoutout goes to Michelle Leith, who had a brilliant evening and was named this week’s Most Valued Player for her positive impact and calm leadership throughout the match.

Over on the next court, “She’s A Keeper” and “Swift Shooters” shared a closely contested and enjoyable game. Both teams showed great teamwork and determination, with “She’s A Keeper” edging ahead to take a 9–6 win after a really entertaining battle.

“Hoop Hustlers” took on “Nets Get Physical” in a high-energy match full of movement and encouragement from both sides. “Nets Get Physical” brought great intensity and finished the game 13–5, but both teams can be proud of the effort and spirit they showed throughout.

Another great week in the Premier League division, with plenty of laughs, learning, and quality netball on display. As the league rolls into next week, the focus stays firmly on enjoying the game, supporting teammates, and having fun on court.
