There was a great buzz in the air last night as Week 11 of the Telford Tuesday 7-a-side Netball League wrapped up. The Premier League division treated everyone to some brilliant games, with teams enjoying themselves and showing how much they’re growing each week.
Phoenix and Nets Get Physical had an energetic match, with Nets Get Physical finishing ahead 12–4. Phoenix kept their spirits high throughout, and both teams showed lovely teamwork.
Hoop Hustlers and Swift Shooters played a lively game that ended 8–5 to Hoop Hustlers. The Shooters put in a fantastic effort, and it was clear both sides were enjoying being out on court together.
Spice Goals and Love At First Pass gave us one of the closest and most exciting games of the evening, with Spice Goals just edging it 15–14. It was a wonderful, friendly contest from start to finish.
One of the highlights of the night was the matchup between She’s A Keeper and Just Wing It, which ended in a well-deserved 10–10 draw. Both teams played with great spirit and support for one another. Fran McGowan from Just Wing It stood out with a brilliant performance, earning this week’s ‘most valued player’ award.
The Premier League division continues to be a warm and welcoming space for players to enjoy netball, build confidence, and celebrate each other’s progress. With next week’s games on the horizon, everyone is looking forward to more fun, friendship, and great netball.
