Play in the Burntwood Wednesday Netball league powered by Ypu Play Netball

What a splendid fifth week of the season it was under the floodlights, featuring a riveting and friendly evening of social netball at Norton Canes High School. The atmosphere hummed with a warm, inclusive vibe as players of all experience levels gathered to celebrate camaraderie and share their love for the game.

In the Division 1 group, the Pocket Rockets and Cheeky Chasers put on a lively show, ending the game with a score of 27-8, with the Chasers having an upper hand. Both teams exhibited remarkable teamwork and commitment, making it a game to remember. In a similar vein, the Sista Squad and Shot Callers displayed exceptional sportsmanship throughout their game, which ended with a favourable score of 18-13 for the Sista Squad. Meanwhile, the Burntwood Beaters and Kiss My Pass played an upbeat match, concluding with a score of 22-12 favouring the Beaters, showing the positive energy and spirit that makes netball such an enjoyable sport.

Over in the Division 2 group, the Hoop Dogz and Burntwood Netters match concluded with a scoreline of 23-5 in favour of the Burntwood Netters. Both teams demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and positivity. The Netball Ninjas and Hoop There It Is came together for a spirited game that ended with a score of 31-9 to the Ninjas. Last but not least, the Chasers and The Pink Ladies game ended with a close score of 12-9. All teams left the court with heads held high, having enjoyed a great game of netball.

A special mention for this week's Most Valued Player, Emily Harris from the Pocket Rockets. Emily's enthusiasm and movement around the court were as delightful as her positive attitude. Both her teammates and opponents alike appreciated her contributions to the game.

Looking ahead, we are all very excited about Week 6 and another evening of friendly social netball. It's more than just a sport; it's about keeping active, meeting new people, and continually developing our netball skills in a supportive environment.
