Play in the Burntwood Wednesday Netball league powered by Ypu Play Netball

A delightful evening of social netball descended on Norton Canes High School for the fourth week of our friendly and welcoming season. The atmosphere was electric as players, ranging from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts, gathered for a night filled with teamwork, camaraderie, and the love of the game.

In the first match of the Division 1 group, Kiss My Pass and Pocket Rockets gave an energetic performance. The game ended with Kiss My Pass finishing with a score of 17-14. Displaying true sportsmanship and cohesive teamwork throughout, both teams demonstrated their commitment to the game and the positive energy was palpable.

In Division 1's second game, Sista Squad finished with a narrow victory of 18-17 against Burntwood Beaters. The match was a testament to the fun and enjoyment that netball brings, as both teams played with spirit and laughter echoing around the court.

Shot Callers and Cheeky Chasers also took to the court in Division 1. The game concluded with Cheeky Chasers wrapping up with a score of 21-15. Despite the scoreline, every player left the court with a smile on their face, highlighting the friendly atmosphere of the evening.

In Division 2, Chasers and Hoop Dogz displayed an excellent game. Hoop Dogz finished the game with a score of 14-6. Both teams showcased incredible sportsmanship, with enthusiasm and positivity flowing throughout the game.

Netball Ninjas and The Pink Ladies gave a memorable performance in Division 2. The game ended with Netball Ninjas securing a score of 15-10. Every play, every pass was met with cheers and applause, encapsulating the spirit of the friendly matches.

The last game of the evening in Division 2 saw Hoop There It Is and Burntwood Netters giving their all on the court. Burntwood Netters finished the game with a score of 22-4. Despite the score, both teams maintained a high level of energy and camaraderie throughout the game.

A special mention goes to Bonnie Reynolds from Hoop Dogz, who was voted as the Most Valued Player of the week. Her fantastic movement around the court, and her enthusiasm for the game did not go unnoticed, with both teammates and opponents acknowledging her contribution.

As we look forward to next week's fifth evening of social netball, we're excited to keep active, meet new people, and continue developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. Here's to another evening of teamwork, fun, and friendly competition. Back to netball, indeed!
