Play in the Burntwood Wednesday Netball league powered by Ypu Play Netball

It was another joyous evening of social netball at Norton Canes High School as they celebrated Week 2 of the season. The welcoming atmosphere hummed with camaraderie and friendly competition as players of all experience levels took to the court to enjoy a wonderful night of netball.

In the Division 1 group, the Burntwood Beaters and Pocket Rockets showcased an excellent display of teamwork and sportsmanship. The Burntwood Beaters finished the game with a score of 22-13. The game was played with a high energy, and the spirit of friendly competition was prevalent from start to finish.

The second match in the division saw Cheeky Chasers playing against the Sista Squad. The Chasers emerged with a score of 14-6. Each team demonstrated a high level of commitment and sportsmanship, making the game not just enjoyable, but a reminder of why we love netball.

In the Division 2 group, Burntwood Netters faced off against the Netball Ninjas. The Netters ended the game with a narrow victory of 10-9. The teams' positive energy was infectious, and both sides enjoyed a game played in great spirit.

The Pink Ladies had a lively match against the Hoop Dogz, who ended the game with a score of 18-6. The match was filled with friendly competition and camaraderie, showcasing the true essence of social netball.

This week, we would like to give a special mention to Anna Dewsbury from Pocket Rockets who was named the Most Valued Player. Anna's enthusiasm and constant movement around the court caught everyone's attention. Her positive contribution was not just appreciated by her teammates, but also by her opponents.

As we look forward to Week 3, we anticipate another enjoyable evening of friendly social netball. This is not just about keeping active, it's about meeting new people and developing our netball skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. Back to Netball, and see you all next week!
