What a fantastic way to kick off a brand new season at Norton Canes High School! Week 1 was full of friendly competition, great teamwork and plenty of smiles as teams returned to the court for another season of social netball. It was brilliant to welcome both familiar and new faces for an evening of fun, fitness and great games.

The evening began with Burntwood Beaters taking on Shot Callers. Burntwood Beaters put in a strong performance to secure a 24-10 win, with both teams showing great determination and encouraging each other throughout the match.

Next up, Pocket Rockets faced Sista Squad. Sista Squad came away with a 19-9 victory, but both teams played with fantastic energy and sportsmanship from the first whistle to the last.

Kiss My Pass took on Cheeky Chasers in another enjoyable fixture. Cheeky Chasers worked well together to earn a 22-3 win, with both teams keeping the game fun and competitive.

The Pink Ladies and Hoop There It Is played out a closely contested game, with The Pink Ladies edging the result 14-10 after a brilliant team performance from both sides.

Chasers faced Burntwood Netters, with Chasers finishing the game 18-10 winners in another entertaining match full of great teamwork.

The final game of the evening saw Netball Ninjas take on Hoop Dogz. Netball Ninjas finished with a 19-2 victory, rounding off a fantastic first week of the season.

A huge congratulations to our Player of the Week, Jenny Whittle from The Pink Ladies! Jenny's enthusiasm, energy and positivity on court made her a standout performer, and she was a fantastic example of the supportive spirit that makes our leagues so enjoyable.
