Play in the Burntwood Wednesday Netball league powered by Ypu Play Netball

A warm, friendly atmosphere filled Norton Canes High School last Wednesday as teams gathered for the fourth week of social netball season. Players of all experience levels came together under the floodlights, each one buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The welcoming environment echoed with laughter and cheers, creating an enjoyable evening for all participants.

In the Division 1 group, Swamp Donkeys and Cheeky Chasers took to the court. Swamp Donkeys concluded the game with a score of 27-18. The match was a wonderful display of teamwork and commitment from both sides. There was an abundance of positive energy which clearly contributed to the enjoyable game played in great spirit.

Another game in Division 1 saw Sista Squad and Kiss My Pass face off. Sista Squad ended the game with a respectable 15-7. Both teams showed incredible sportsmanship, and the good-natured banter only added to the fun-filled atmosphere.

In Division 2, Chasers and Hoop Dogz played a game that was full of enthusiasm and camaraderie. Hoop Dogz ended the game with a score of 11-2. Despite the score, both teams left the court smiling, having enjoyed a night of friendly competition and team building.

The Pink Ladies and Hoop There It Is also took to the court in Division 2. The Pink Ladies finished the game with a score of 16-6. Both teams put on an excellent display of netball skills and fair play, adding to the enjoyable evening.

A special mention must go to Jo Markland from Shot Callers, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Jo's positive contribution, enthusiastic playing style and incredible movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Her sportsmanship was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, and her efforts truly encapsulated the spirit of our social netball nights.
