Last Wednesday evening, the Norton Canes High School was abuzz with laughter, cheers, and the unmistakable echo of bouncing balls, marking Week 2 of our social netball season. The night was a celebration of camaraderie and enthusiasm, welcoming both seasoned players and newcomers alike to enjoy a delightful evening of social netball.
The first match in the Division 1 group saw the Sista Squad and the Burntwood Beaters take to the court. Final score: Burntwood Beaters finished the game with a score of 14-4. The game was a commendable display of teamwork and sportsmanship, with both teams exhibiting great commitment and a positive energy that resonated beyond the court.
Next in the Division 1 group, Kiss My Pass took on the Cheeky Chasers in an entertaining match that ended with a score of 27-7 in favour of the Cheeky Chasers. Throughout, both teams played with an infectious enthusiasm that made it an enjoyable game, played in the true spirit of social netball.
In the Division 2 group, the Shot Callers and Chasers played an energetic game that concluded with the Shot Callers scoring 27 against 1. The match was a testament to the dedication and teamwork displayed by both sides, in a game that was played with great spirit and enjoyment.
This week, we'd like to give a special mention to Chloe Edmonds from the Burntwood Beaters. Chloe's enthusiasm and dynamic movement around the court were highly admired by her teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game was a standout on the night, and a reflection of the spirit we cherish in our social netball community.
