In an electrifying night of competition, the fourth week of the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League showcased the best of local talent, culminating in some thrilling results.
Shot Callers blazed their trail to victory with a decisive 17-8 win over Chasers. Meanwhile, Swamp Donkeys played the Sista Squad in a tightly-contested match, securing a 18-12 victory. The biggest headline of the night, however, came from Burntwood Beaters, who narrowly edged out Kiss My Pass 18-15.
Over in Division 2, the tension was palpable as Hoop Dogz fell to Pocket Rockets in a 20-9 showdown, while The Pink Ladies triumphed over Hoop There It Is with a 11-7 victory. But the night's most commanding performance came from Lightening Strikers, who delivered a 32-0 defeat to Netball Ninjas.
The night's biggest recognition goes to Ruby Pike of The Pink Ladies, who was lauded as the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional performance throughout the night exemplified the spirit of the league, combining skill, dedication, and teamwork to lead her team to victory.
In Division 1, Swamp Donkeys emerged as the top scorers, while in Division 2, that accolade went to Lightening Strikers. These teams not only showcased their scoring prowess.
