Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball - Week 1

In the thrilling opening week of the Burntwood Wednesday Night Netball league, teams across Division 1 and Division 2 competed fiercely, setting the tone for an enthralling season ahead.

In Division 1, Sista Squad emerged victorious with a 18-8 win over Bloxwich Beaters, with Kim Williams of Sista Squad stealing the show. Her phenomenal performance not only contributed significantly to her team's victory but also earned her the title of the league's most valued player of the week. Lightening Strikers and Burntwood Stars battled it out in a nail-biting encounter that ended with Burntwood Stars clinching a one-point victory with a score of 11-10. Meanwhile, Kiss My Pass set the bar high in their opening game, sailing to a comfortable 19-5 win over Chasers.

Over in Division 2, the competition was just as great. The Pink Ladies started their season on a high, clinching an 11-7 win against Hoop Dogz. The Pocket Rockets faced a tough loss against Hoop For The Best, who emerged victorious with a 19-14 score line. Netball Ninjas made a strong start to their campaign, showcasing their might in a 15-5 triumph over Hoop There It Is.
