Burntwood Wednesday Netball League – Week 9 Round-Up 

Week 9 of the Burntwood Wednesday Netball League powered by You Play Netball brought another brilliant evening of netball, with great teamwork, close contests, and plenty of positive energy across both divisions.

In Division 1, Swamp Donkeys put together a strong team performance against Burntwood Beaters, showing great communication and composure throughout the game. Cheeky Chasers followed with an impressive display against Shot Callers, playing with confidence and consistency. One of the highlights of the night was the closely fought match between Lightening Strikers and Sista Squad, with both teams battling hard right to the final whistle in an exciting and evenly matched contest.

Over in Division 2, the action continued with some fantastic performances. Chasers showed great determination and teamwork against We Shot This, while Netball Ninjas impressed with a confident display against Hoop Dogz. Pocket Rockets ended the night on a high with an energetic and well-organised performance against The Pink Ladies.

A special mention goes to Amy Carrington from The Pink Ladies, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her effort, movement, and game awareness really stood out and were great to see.

With Week 9 complete, teams are now looking ahead to the next round of fixtures, building on their progress and enjoying the competition. There’s plenty more exciting netball to come as the season continues.
