Another brilliant evening of netball took place in the Burntwood Wednesday League, with Week 9 delivering plenty of exciting moments, strong performances, and great team spirit across both divisions.

In Division 1, Burntwood Beaters put in a really impressive display against Lightening Strikers, showing great control and teamwork throughout. A special shoutout goes to Olivia Hall, who earned Most Valued Player this week thanks to a standout performance and fantastic effort on court.

Kiss My Pass and Pocket Rockets played out a closely fought game, with both teams battling hard from start to finish in a match that could have gone either way. Sista Squad also showed plenty of determination, but it was Swamp Donkeys who managed to come through with a solid team performance.

Over in Division 2, there was no shortage of excitement. Netball Ninjas and Hoop There It Is treated everyone to a really tight and competitive game, keeping spectators hooked right to the final whistle. Shot Callers delivered a confident performance against Hoop Dogz, while Pink Ladies and We Shot This played out an entertaining and closely contested match.

Week 9 was another great reminder of what makes this league so enjoyable – teamwork, effort, and a brilliant atmosphere every Wednesday night. With the competition continuing to build, it’ll be exciting to see what the next round of games brings!
