Meanwhile, a fierce battle ensued between Burntwood Beaters and Sista Squad, with the former clinching an 18-13 win.
Over in Division 2, the teams fought hard to deliver captivating performances. Hoop Dogz prevailed over Hoop There It Is, in a keenly contested 13-9 match. Pocket Rockets squeaked past Netball Ninjas with a narrow 12-10 victory, while Lightning Strikers outpaced The Pink Ladies, putting up 16 points against 4.
While team results were of course the main focus, one player stood out among the rest. Ellie Holloway of Shot Callers delivered a remarkable performance, earning her the most valued player title for the week. Holloway's impressive display of skill, agility and teamwork was a sight to behold, marking her as a key player to watch in future games.
