Leamington Spa Tuesday Social Netball Update 9th June

The spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm was palpable in Leamington Spa this Tuesday, as local netball enthusiasts gathered for the second week of netball. All teams were in high spirits, celebrating every goal as they enjoyed the fun, fitness, and friendship that the sport offers.

The opening fixture saw Leamington Legends take on Cubbington Cubs in an entertaining and closely contested game. Both teams showed excellent energy and determination, but it was Leamington Legends who secured a well-earned 18-14 victory. The match featured some great passages of play and provided an exciting start to the season.

Elsewhere, Dangerous Divas faced Ball Saints in another competitive encounter. Both teams battled hard throughout the match, but Dangerous Divas edged ahead to claim an 19-12 victory. The game showcased plenty of determination and resilience from both sides, highlighting the competitive spirit that promises to make this season an exciting one.

The Court Conquerors and Net Ninjas showed that every point counts, celebrating each of their 1 and 4 goals with as much passion and enthusiasm as their peers. Every player, regardless of the final score, demonstrated their love for the sport and the joy of getting back into the game after such a long break.

Nutballs also made a strong statement with an impressive performance against Throw and Go. Demonstrating excellent teamwork, movement, and shooting accuracy, they recorded a 22-11 victory.

The night continues to foster a culture of inclusivity, sportsmanship, and friendship amongst players. It's not about winning or losing; it's about picking up that ball, having fun with friends, and getting that heart rate up.
