Play in the Leamington Spa Tuesday Social Netball

Warm laughter and friendly chatter filled the air last Tuesday evening at North Leamington School, as Week 6 of our beloved Social Netball Season unfolded. A sense of camaraderie permeated the atmosphere as players of all experience levels enthusiastically took to the court, united by their love for netball.

The first match of the evening saw the Ball Saints take on the Cubbington Cubs. The Cubs finished the game with a score of 12-5, displaying impressive teamwork and commitment. With every pass and goal, the positive energy on the court was palpable, making the match an absolute joy to watch.

In a friendly encounter between the Nutballs and the Net Ninjas, the Nutballs ended the game with a score of 16-12. The game was characterized by a sense of camaraderie, as both teams showed terrific gusto on the court.

Next up were the Court Conquerors and Throw and Go, who played an evenly matched game that ended in a 10-10 tie. Both teams embodied the spirit of sportsmanship, cheering each other on and celebrating good plays regardless of which side made them.

The final match of the evening saw the Leamington Legends play against the Dangerous Divas. The Divas finished the game with a score of 27-16 and the match was enjoyed by all, with each team contributing to an atmosphere of mutual respect and hearty competition.

A special mention must go to our Most Valued Player of the week, Kirsten Scriven from Ball Saints. Kirsten's infectious enthusiasm and strategic movement around the court were a delight to behold. Her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, encapsulating the true spirit of social netball.

As we look ahead to Week 7, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. We can't wait for everyone to continue keeping active, meeting new people, and developing their netball skills in our supportive environment. Let's keep this wonderful, warm atmosphere going, nurturing our love for the game and fostering our sense of community. After all, it's not just about the score on the board, but the joy we find in the game, the new friends we make, and the old friends we cherish.
