Another enjoyable evening of camaraderie and friendly competition wrapped up this week at North Leamington School. Marking the fourth week of the season, players of all experience levels were welcomed to participate in a lively social netball event, filled with laughter, sportsmanship, and an energetic night of netball.
In the first match of the evening, the Throw And Go team gracefully worked their way around the court, finishing with an admirable score of 6 against the Cubbington Cubs, who claimed a respectful total of 11. The game was a showcase of pure teamwork and spirit, with all players demonstrating their commitment and positive energy throughout.
Next up, Leamington Legends and Court Conquerors faced off in a game that encapsulated the essence of social netball. With the Legends securing a score of 20 to the Conquerors' 8, the match was played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, leaving both teams eager for their next encounter.
Meanwhile, Nutballs and Ball Saints brought a fabulous display of netball, with Nutballs concluding the game at 22 against Ball Saints who made a commendable effort with a total of 15. The game was a great source of fun and enjoyment for everyone involved.
In the final match of the night, Net Ninjas and Dangerous Divas gave spectators an exciting game, finishing with a close score of 13 to 14 respectively. This game was a testament to the friendly spirit of social netball, keeping everyone on their toes until the very end.
The evening wouldn't be complete without a special mention to the Most Valued Player of the week, Sophia Wallis from Throw And Go. Sophia's enthusiasm and movement around the court were truly inspiring. Her positive contribution to the game was appreciated by all, spreading a sense of camaraderie among teammates and opponents alike.
