Play in the Leamington Spa Tuesday Social Netball

What a wonderful start to the social netball season at North Leamington School! Week 1 saw a delightful evening filled with camaraderie and spirit as players from all experience levels came together. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a great night of netball.

The first match kicked off with Leamington Legends sharing the court with Throw And Go. The game ended with Leamington Legends finishing with a gentle lead of 17-11. The match was a wonderful display of teamwork and commitment from both teams, with every point scored amidst cheering and applause.

The next game brought together Cubbington Cubs and Net Ninjas. With a final score of 21-10 in favor of Cubbington Cubs, the match was filled with positive energy from start to finish. Each player's contribution was equally important, making the game a real team effort.

Dangerous Divas and Nutballs were next on the court, with Nutballs ending the game with a score of 18-15. The game was played in the true spirit of netball. Both teams demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, leaving everyone with a smile.

Lastly, Ball Saints and Court Conquerors played an engaging game that ended with Court Conquerors leading at 20-14. Despite the score, Ball Saints demonstrated great resilience and everyone enjoyed the game.

A special mention goes to Abbie Blick from Net Ninjas who was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week. Abbie's enthusiasm and movement around the court did not go unnoticed. Her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 2, we can't wait for the next evening of friendly social netball. It's a wonderful way to stay active, meet new people, and develop netball skills in a supportive environment. So as the social netball season has just started, let's continue to embrace the spirit of getting back into netball and enjoy the camaraderie that comes along with it!
