Week 3 of the Bromsgrove Wednesday Netball League brought another fun evening of social netball, with plenty of great teamwork, encouraging sidelines, and enjoyable matches across the Premier League.
Hoops A Daisies and Hoops I Did It Again kicked off the night with a close and entertaining game, with Hoops A Daisies taking an 8–6 win after a strong team performance from both sides.
Bromsgrove Snatchers and Bromsgrove Bluebirds followed with another well-matched fixture, ending 10–8 to the Snatchers in a game that showed just how evenly matched the league is this season.
Sweaty Betty’s enjoyed a confident outing against Net Chixs, finishing 22–10 after some lovely passages of play. One of the surprises of the evening came from A Little Rusty, who picked up a 17–12 win over Game Of Throws in a fast-paced and good-spirited match.
Despite the result, Joanne Hammond from Game Of Throws was named Player of the Week thanks to her consistent effort, positive attitude, and impact on the court.
As the season continues, it’s great to see teams settling in, enjoying their netball, and supporting one another week after week. The league remains open and friendly, with lots to look forward to in the coming weeks.
