The Bromsgrove Wednesday YouPlay Netball league came to a fantastic close this week, with the 14th and final round of the season bringing another evening full of energy, teamwork, and great netball.

There were some brilliant performances across the court as teams enjoyed the final matches of the season. Bromsgrove Snatchers had a strong game against Hoops I Did It Again, finishing 17-2, while Game of Throws also put in a great team performance against Bromsgrove Bluebirds, ending the match 18-8.

One of the closest games of the evening saw Hoops A Daisies and Sweaty Betty’s play out an exciting match, with Hoops A Daisies finishing just ahead 14-12. Elsewhere, A Little Rusty rounded off their season with a confident 17-6 result against Net Chixs.

A special mention goes to this week’s most valued player, Georgia Tryner from Sweaty Betty’s, whose fantastic performance stood out on the night. Her skill, movement, and positive team spirit were wonderful to watch.

As the season comes to an end, congratulations go to Sweaty Betty’s, who finished at the top of the Premier League table with 26 points and 13 wins. Their consistency and teamwork throughout the season have been a real highlight.

More than anything, this season has been a wonderful celebration of local sport, friendship, and community spirit. The Bromsgrove Wednesday league has once again brought together players and supporters for plenty of fun, fitness, and memorable moments.

With another great season wrapped up, excitement is already building for the next one, and everyone is looking forward to more Wednesday night netball soon.
