Bromsgrove Wednesday YouPlay Netball League News 2026-01-28

All the latest news from your local Social Netball League, straight from North Bromsgrove High School!

It’s been another great week of Wednesday night netball in the Bromsgrove Social League, with plenty of smiles, teamwork, and brilliant moments across the courts in the Premier League division. Players brought energy, enthusiasm, and a love of the game, making for an enjoyable evening all round.

Hoops I Did It Again met Bromsgrove Snatchers in a lively match that saw the Snatchers take the win, 21–8. Both teams showed great effort and teamwork, with the Snatchers finding their rhythm as the game went on.

Game Of Throws and Bromsgrove Bluebirds treated everyone to a close and entertaining contest. With lots of end-to-end play, Game Of Throws edged ahead to finish 14–11 in a match that could have gone either way.

Sweaty Betty’s and Hoops A Daisies shared a fun-filled game, with Sweaty Betty’s enjoying a strong night in front of goal to come away with a 27–4 win. Both teams kept the atmosphere positive and supportive throughout.

Net Chixs faced ‘A Little Rusty’ in another enjoyable fixture, with ‘A Little Rusty’ taking the win 19–8 after a relaxed but well-played game from both sides.

A special mention this week goes to Amy Hawthorn from the Bromsgrove Bluebirds, who was awarded Most Valued Player of the Week. Her positive attitude, commitment, and lovely play stood out and summed up what social netball is all about.

As the season continues, it’s great to see teams building confidence, friendships, and enjoying their Wednesday nights on court. We’re looking forward to many more fun games ahead!
