Wednesday night at Bromsgrove was buzzing as week two of the 7-a-side Premier League rolled into action, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter, and great netball along with it.
Net Chixs were clearly in the zone as they enjoyed a strong run against Hoops A Daisies, finishing the game 13–3. With slick passes, great teamwork, and lots of encouragement on court, they set a cheerful pace for the evening.
One of the standout moments of the night came from Sweaty Betty’s, who had a fantastic game against Game Of Throws, wrapping things up with an 18–5 scoreline. Their energy, coordination, and court chemistry made it a joy to watch and showed just how much fun netball can be when everything clicks.
Elsewhere, Bromsgrove Snatchers put in a determined and spirited performance but were edged out by A Little Rusty, who took the win 17–9 in an entertaining match full of effort from both sides.
A special shout-out goes to Bromsgrove Snatchers’ Emma Rzezniczak, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Emma’s movement, awareness, and positive influence on the game didn’t go unnoticed and made her a well-deserved MVP.
With only two weeks played, the league is already shaping up to be a brilliant mix of friendly competition, improving skills, and great social vibes. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
