In the heart of North Bromsgrove High School, the excitement of Week 3 of the social netball season was palpable. The school grounds buzzed with a warm and welcoming atmosphere as players of all experience levels laced up their sneakers for an enjoyable night of netball. Despite the chilly weather, the spirits were high and the camaraderie was heartwarming.
Our first match of the evening saw Game Of Throws and Sweaty Bettys take the court. The Sweaty Bettys finished their game with a score of 22-9, a testament to their great teamwork and commitment. Both teams played with positive energy and it was truly an enjoyable game played in great spirit.
Next up were Hoops A Daisies and Bromsgrove Snatchers, with Bromsgrove Snatchers completing the match with a score of 20-11. The game showcased the best of sportsmanship, with both teams encouraging and supporting each other throughout the match.
A Little Rusty and Not Fast But Furious followed, finishing their game 12-7 in favor of A Little Rusty. Their positive energy was infectious, with both teams demonstrating some superbly coordinated plays.
Finally, the Goal Diggers and Net Chixs game ended in an exciting draw, with both teams scoring 18 points. It was a thrilling finish that radiated the essence of social netball, friendly competition, and collective enjoyment.
Amidst all the enjoyment, a special mention is due for the Most Valued Player of the week, Chloe Worrod from Not Fast But Furious. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were commendable, and her positive contribution was appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.
