It was another captivating evening at North Bromsgrove High School on Wednesday, as our cherished social netball group enjoyed week 2 of the season. A truly welcoming atmosphere was felt by all, with players of varying experience levels coming together for a brilliant night of netball fun. The camaraderie and genuine love for the sport were evident in each game, truly showcasing the spirit of our community.
The first match of the evening saw Goal Diggers and Not Fast But Furious take to the court. Goal Diggers finished the game with a score of 17-9, demonstrating an impressive display of teamwork throughout the game. Not Fast But Furious displayed an incredible commitment, with their positive energy making it an enjoyable game for all involved.
Next, Sweaty Bettys and Net Chixs brought their enthusiasm to the court. Sweaty Bettys ended the game with a remarkable score of 26-6. Net Chixs gave their all, highlighting the sportsmanship and the welcoming spirit that underpins our social netball nights.
The final match of the evening was between A Little Rusty and Hoops A Daisies. A Little Rusty emerged with a score of 18-8. Both teams played in great spirit, bringing a positive end to the enjoyable evening.
A special mention goes to Katie Gray from Hoops A Daisies, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Katie’s amazing energy and movement around the court caught everyone’s eye. Her positive contribution to the game was greatly appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike.
