The jovial atmosphere of North Bromsgrove High School was palpable as Week 14 of sociable netball unfolded this Wednesday evening. With a welcoming environment and players of varying experience levels, the evening was a delightful showcase of netball skills, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.
The first match of the night saw Not Fast But Furious and Sweaty Bettys sharing the court. Both teams displayed keen teamwork and energy throughout the game, which concluded with a score of 19-7 in favour of Sweaty Bettys. Regardless of the final score, the spirit of the game remained high, with both teams demonstrating a great love for the sport.
The second game was between Bromsgrove Snatchers and Hoops A Daisies. The Snatchers concluded the game with a score of 20-8. The commitment and sportsmanship displayed by both teams were commendable, leading to an enjoyable game played in the greatest spirit.
The final match saw Goal Diggers and A Little Rusty take to the court. With a final score of 13-6 for Goal Diggers, both teams exhibited positive energy and a love for the game that was infectious for spectators.
A special mention is due for Laura Johnston from Bromsgrove Snatchers, who was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week. Laura's enthusiasm, nimble movement around the court, and positive contributions were not only appreciated by her teammates but also by her opponents, demonstrating the true spirit of this social netball evening.
