In the heart of North Bromsgrove High School, a delightful evening of social netball unfolded last Wednesday, marking Week 13 of the season. The welcoming atmosphere buzzed with laughter, cheers, and the sweet sound of teamwork, as players of all experience levels came together for another night of camaraderie and netball passion.
The first match saw the Net Chixs sharing the court with Not Fast But Furious. Both teams displayed an impressive commitment to the game. Not Fast But Furious concluded the game with a score of 19-7. Their teamwork and positive energy were palpable throughout the game, and the spirit of sportsmanship beamed brightly in their interactions. The Net Chixs also put up a spirited performance, showing great dedication and enthusiasm.
In the next match, Goal Diggers and Sweaty Bettys took to the court. The final score was 19-8 in favour of the Sweaty Bettys, but the highlight was the sense of camaraderie between both teams. Each pass, each goal, each interception was met with cheers and applause, showcasing the essence of social netball.
Hoops A Daisies and A Little Rusty faced off in the final match of the day, with A Little Rusty finishing the game on a high note with the score of 16-1. Despite the score, Hoops A Daisies showed immense sportsmanship and positively radiated throughout the game.
A special mention goes to Maisie Bullivant of A Little Rusty who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her swift movements around the court didn't go unnoticed. Maisie's positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, making her a worthy recipient of this week’s accolade.
