What an enjoyable evening it was as Week 8 of the social netball season descended upon North Bromsgrove High School. The welcoming atmosphere was palpable as players of varying experience levels took to the court, all in a bid to partake in a splendid night of netball.

The first match of the evening saw Net Chixs and Sweaty Betty's displaying an impressive level of camaraderie and team spirit. The game concluded with Sweaty Betty's ending on 22 points with Net Chixs finishing with a respectable 9. The match exemplified the essence of social netball – teamwork, commitment, and a vivacious energy that made it an enjoyable game for all.

Bromsgrove Snatchers and Not Fast But Furious were up next, and they kept the momentum going with a positively charged game. Bromsgrove Snatchers, with a final score of 13 points, and Not Fast But Furious, who finished with 7 points, played in great spirit, highlighting the friendly nature of our social netball evenings.

The third match saw Goal Diggers and Hoops A Daisies in action. The game ended with Hoops A Daisies scoring 12 points and Goal Diggers garnering 10 points. The game was played in a spirit of good sportsmanship, and the positive energy on the court was truly infectious.

The last match of the evening was between Game Of Throws and ‘A Little Rusty’, culminating the evening with ‘A Little Rusty’ finishing with a score of 20 and Game Of Throws concluding the proceedings with 10 points. The players left the court with a sense of satisfaction, having played an enjoyable game filled with teamwork and dedication.

A special mention must be made for the Most Valued Player of the week - Kaia Harris from Goal Diggers. Kaia’s enthusiasm, dynamic movement around the court and positive contribution were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, reflecting the true spirit of the game.

As we look ahead to Week 9, we eagerly anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active; it's about meeting new people, developing our netball skills, and most importantly, enjoying ourselves in a supportive environment.
