Week 4 of the Platt Bridge Sunday Netball League brought another enjoyable round of matches, with every team showing great effort, teamwork, and plenty of skill out on court. It was fantastic to see the energy and support from players and spectators alike, making it a really positive day for everyone involved.
Bib And Tonic had a strong game against Net Flicks And Chill, coming away with a 27–4 win. Their communication and teamwork really stood out, helping them settle into the match and play with confidence from start to finish.
Fast And Flawless also had a great run on court, securing an 18–3 win over Net Satisfaction. They showed good movement and understanding as a team, working well together to create opportunities and keep the game flowing.
One of the closest and most exciting matches of the week was between The Platt Pack and Newbridge Angels. It was a tightly contested game throughout, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, Newbridge Angels edged ahead by just one point, finishing 9–8 in what was a brilliant example of competitive but friendly netball.
Play For Keeps enjoyed a solid 11–6 win over Passing Storm, showing consistency and determination as they worked their way through the game.
A special mention goes to Kirsty Gregson from Net Satisfaction, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her effort, attitude, and individual performance really stood out and made a big impression, showing that great contributions can come in any result.
Overall, it was another lovely week of netball, with plenty of positives to take from every game. The season is shaping up nicely, and it’s great to see all teams continuing to improve and support each other.
