In the thrilling world of Netball, the Platt Bridge Sunday league just concluded its fifth week with high voltage action redefining the dynamics of the League division. The adrenaline-fueled matches saw teams giving their all to climb up the league table, resulting in some surprising outcomes.
In the League, Passing Storm fell to Bib And Tonic with a score of 6-18. Bib And Tonic showed excellent execution and teamwork that led them to a resounding victory. But the real surprise of the evening came when the Newbridge Angels confronted Play For Keeps. The Angels, despite their formidable reputation, couldn't hold their fort and succumbed to Play For Keeps with a score of 6-25.
Meanwhile, Net Satisfaction pulled off a tight victory against The Platt Pack scoring 8-5, showcasing their defensive prowess. Coincidentally, the same scoreline was repeated in the Net Flicks And Chill vs Fast And Flawless clash, with the former clinching the victory in a hard-fought contest.
The star of the week was none other than Niamh White from Newbridge Angels. Despite her team's result, Niamhâs performance was a silver lining, earning her the title of the most valued player of the week.
