Newark Tuesday Social Netball Update 7th May
In a thrilling week 6 of the Newark Tuesday Social Netball league, some teams rose to the occasion, while others felt the sting of defeat.
The Newark Ninjas gave a great performance against Pivot Like Its Hot, defeating them with an impressive 9-2 victory. Their swift passes and agile footwork left their opponents in the dust, solidifying their place as a force to be reckoned with in the league.
In another pulsating match, Some Like It Shot came out triumphant against League Queens, finishing the game at 12-5. Their tenacious defense and sharp shooting were the defining factors in their commendable win.
However, the highlight of the night was the face-off between Three Second Sweeties and Fast But Not Furious. The former team displayed an exceptional performance securing a 16-5 win.
In the midst of the action-packed week, one player stood head and shoulders above the rest. Amelia Kirk of Clock Stoppers was named the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional gameplay, coupled with her strategic prowess, earned her this well-deserved accolade.
