Newark Tuesday Social Netball Update 14th May

This week in out Newark Tuesday Social netball league we saw it take place at Barnby Academy for the first time and although initially we had a few issues with the posts, the league ran smoothly after that was resolved. 

The Newark Ninjas took on Fast But Not Furious, emerging victorious with a 16 - 3 scoreline. The Ninjas showcased their offensive prowess and defensive solidity, displaying a level of skill and agility that was a treat for netball enthusiasts.

In another exciting encounter, the Three Second Sweeties faced off against Some Like It Shot. The battle was close despite the scoreline, but the Sweeties outplayed their opponents, securing a 11 - 4 victory.

However, the most intense match of the evening was between Pivot Like Its Hot and Clock Stoppers. It was a nail-biting encounter that saw Pivot Like Its Hot snatch a 9 - 8 victory. The players from both sides showed incredible sportsmanship and resilience, proving why they were only separated by 1 goal.

The most valued player of the week was Lindsey Burn from Some Like It Shot. Despite her team's defeat, Burn displayed an exceptional performance, dazzling everyone with her skills and precision. Her commitment to the game and unwavering effort were the highlights of the match, earning her the well-deserved recognition.
