Merthyr Tydfil Thursday Netball Update - Week 8

Week 8 of the Merthyr Tydfil Thursday Netball League brought another evening of great teamwork, plenty of laughs, and fantastic netball as teams took to the court for another enjoyable round of fixtures.

One of the closest games of the night saw ‘A Little Rusty’ and ‘Hoops I Did It Again’ play out an entertaining 6-6 draw. Both teams showed great spirit and determination in a match that stayed close from start to finish.

‘Net 6 & Chill’ enjoyed a strong performance against ‘The Ballerz’, securing an 11-4 win. ‘The Ballerz’ continued to show brilliant energy and positivity throughout the game, with Rebecca Harris earning Most Valued Player recognition for her standout effort on court.

‘Cherry Bombs’ were also in fine form this week, putting together a confident team performance to overcome ‘Purple Reign’ 17-5. Their excellent passing and teamwork helped them record the highest score of the evening.

With just two weeks of the season remaining, every team is continuing to improve week by week, making for a fun and exciting atmosphere each Thursday night. It’s been fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, encouragement, and support across the league.
