In the heart of the majestic Meon Vale Leisure Centre, Week 5 of the social netball season bustled with laughter, camaraderie, and the joyous echoes of netballs swishing through the hoops. It was an evening that truly encapsulated the essence of social netball, where players of varying experience levels came together, united by their love for the sport and the spirit of friendly competition.

The evening kicked off with an energising game between the Netchix and The Shooters, where both teams displayed a commendable level of teamwork and sportsmanship. The game culminated with The Shooters finishing with a score of 21 against Netchix's hard-earned 13. It was a jubilant display of netball, played with great spirit and infectious enthusiasm.

Next up was a thrilling match between the Chillies and D Linquents, another pair of teams known for their commitment to the sport and positive energy. The game ended with D Linquents scoring 16 points to The Chillies' 14. The remarkable camaraderie demonstrated by both teams served as a beautiful reminder of why we love social netball so much.

The final game of the evening saw Meon Warriors and Vale Queens taking the court. With each goal, the energy level spiked, and the crowd roared. When the referee's whistle echoed the end, the scoreboard read Vale Queens 20, Meon Warriors 14. Both teams, through their commitment and sportsmanship, made the game a joy to watch.

In the midst of such sportsmanship and camaraderie, there was one player who stood out — Carolyn Stacey of The Chillies.
