Last Thursday marked the third week of the season at Meon Vale Leisure Centre, where an enjoyable evening of social netball unfolded. The welcoming atmosphere was buzzing with players, both seasoned and newcomers, who came together for an engaging night of netball, fostering a sense of community and sportsmanship.

The first match featured Netchix and Meon Warriors. With a final score of 17-7 in favour of Netchix, the game was filled with positive energy and commendable effort from both teams. The spirit of teamwork and commitment was palpable as both teams played a fun yet focused game, embodying the true essence of social netball.

The next match was a lively encounter between The Shooters and D Linquents. The game concluded with The Shooters netting 16 points to D Linquents' 7. Both teams exhibited tremendous sportsmanship, supporting each other throughout the game. It was an enjoyable spectacle, played in great spirit, and everyone left the court with smiles on their faces.

A special mention goes out to Deborah Michael from Netchix, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Deborah's enthusiastic performance, impressive movement around the court, and positive contributions were applauded by teammates and opponents alike. Her love for the game was evident and infectious.

As we look ahead to Week 4, we are excited for another evening of friendly social netball.
