Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball Update 6th November

Stratford Upon Avon's Thursday Netball saw thrilling matches unfold in its eighth week. The games left spectators at the edge of their seats as The Shooters, The Chillies, and Netchix battled it out against Vale Queens, Meon Mermaids, and D Linquents respectively.

In a standout match, The Shooters displayed their dominating performance with a 21-11 victory over Vale Queens. Their strong offensive and defensive strategies have continually seen them ascend the ranks in this season. 

The Chillies, despite their valiant efforts, were narrowly beaten by Meon Mermaids in an equally captivating match, ending in a nail-biting finale of 10-9. The game served as a testament to the sportsmanship and tenacity of both teams.

The Netchix further added to the excitement of the night, securing a 13-3 win against D Linquents. The victory showcased their cohesive teamwork, strategic gameplay, and the relentless spirit that has defined their season.

The player under the spotlight for the week was the highly talented Anna Cutting from Meon Warriors. Cutting was named the Most Valued Player of the week, a well-deserved accolade given her consistent, high-caliber performance throughout the season. She has been instrumental in driving her team forward and continues to be a force to reckon with on the court.
