Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball Update 27th November

The Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Night Netball reached its peak in the 11th week with some of the most exhilarating games witnessed.

The first match saw Meon Mermaids and Meon Warriors face off, an engaging encounter that ended in a 12-7 victory for the Warriors. Both teams showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship, but it was the Warriors' superior strategy and teamwork that clinched them the win.

At the same time, a nail-biting finish awaited in the game between the Vale Queens and Netchix. The Queens claimed a narrow 10-9 victory in an intensely fought contest, testament to their tenacity and willpower. It was far from easy, but the Queens held their nerve, showcasing impressive defensive solidity and attacking flair that would eventually see them cross the finish line.

Elsewhere D Linquents were outplayed by The Chillies who led the scoreboard with a 21-6 win. The Chillies executed a stunning performance, proving why they are one of the top contenders.

The week's standout player was none other than the phenomenal Alex Finnegan from Vale Queens. Finnegan's exceptional performance played a crucial role in the Queens' triumph, making her the deservingly crowned Most Valued Player of the week.
