Week 5 of the Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball brought another fantastic evening of action, with teams continuing to showcase great teamwork, determination, and skill across the court.
The Chillies produced an excellent team performance to secure a 28–8 win over the D Linquents. Their sharp attacking play and strong communication helped them build momentum throughout the match and see out an impressive result.
Netchix also enjoyed a successful evening, earning a hard-fought 14–11 victory against The Shooters in one of the closest games of the night. Both teams played with great energy and commitment, making it an entertaining contest from start to finish. Despite the result, Shelley Compton of The Shooters delivered an outstanding individual performance and deservedly earned this week’s Most Valued Player award for her excellent efforts on court.
Elsewhere, Meon Warriors put in a strong all-round display to claim a 13–7 win over Vale Queens. The match featured some excellent passages of play from both sides, with Meon Warriors capitalising on key moments to secure the victory.
With every week bringing exciting matchups and strong performances across the night, the Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball continues to provide a brilliant atmosphere for players and supporters alike. As the season progresses, there is still plenty to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
