The Stratford Upon Avon Thursday Netball kicked off its inaugural week in a blistering fashion. It was a week of nail-biting action, high-scoring games and surprising upsets.

D Linquents and Netchix faced off in a thrilling clash which ended with Netchix winning the match 21-10. Showcasing remarkable agility and coordination, Netchix set the tone for the season and started their campaign on a high note.

Meon Mermaids clashed with The Chillies in a tightly contested match. It was a battle of defences, with Meon Mermaids edging past The Chillies 10-8. The Chillies put up a commendable fight, but the Mermaids' strategic gameplay ensured their victory.

The Vale Queens met The Shooters in a showdown of tactical brilliance. The Shooters came out on top with a 21-10 triumph, as they showed no signs of mercy against the Queens. The Shooters' precision combined with their competitive spirit resulted in a well-deserved victory.

The first week of the season provided ample excitement and anticipation for the weeks to come. All the teams showed exemplary talent and commitment, setting up an enthralling season ahead.
