Another Fantastic Evening in the Lutterworth Monday You Play Netball League

Week 9 of the Lutterworth Monday You Play Netball League brought another enjoyable evening of netball, with plenty of smiles, great teamwork and some brilliant moments shared across the courts.

Ashby Lane Adventures and The Shooters played out an entertaining game, with Ashby Lane Adventures finding some lovely rhythm and finishing with a 31-17 scoreline. Both teams showed great energy and support for one another throughout the evening.

Diamonds and Off The Net also enjoyed a lively contest, with Diamonds putting together some excellent passages of play to finish with a 24-6 score. It was another great example of the positive spirit and camaraderie that makes Monday nights so enjoyable.

One of the closest games of the evening saw Troubleshooters and Pivot Panthers go right down to the wire. In a fantastic game that kept everyone engaged until the final whistle, Troubleshooters edged a narrow 18-17 win. Both teams played with great determination and sportsmanship, making it a wonderful match to watch.

A special congratulations goes to Emma Askew from Bluebirds, who was named Player of the Week. Emma's enthusiasm, teamwork and all-round contribution on court made her a deserving recipient of the award.

With the season now coming to a close, we'd like to congratulate Troubleshooters, who have been crowned this season's champions after a fantastic campaign. A huge well done also goes to Bluebirds, who finished as worthy runners-up after another excellent season.

Congratulations also to Becca Wood from Rose Rockets, who has been awarded Player of the Season. Becca's positivity, commitment and performances throughout the season have made her a thoroughly deserving winner.

The Lutterworth Monday league continues to be a wonderful place for players of all abilities to come together, enjoy the game, stay active and make new friends. Thank you to everyone who has made this season so special, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on court for another fantastic season soon.
