Lutterworth Monday Netball League – Week 16 Round-Up

It was another great evening of netball in Lutterworth, as teams took to the court for week 16 of the Monday league. With the season nearing its final weeks, there was a brilliant atmosphere, full of energy, teamwork and encouragement from all involved.

Diamonds and Troubleshooters played out an enjoyable and closely fought game, with Diamonds just edging ahead to finish 19–15. Both teams showed great determination and worked hard throughout the match.

Bluebirds had a strong game against Ashby Lane Adventures, putting together some lovely passages of play to finish 25–9. It was great to see both teams keeping the game flowing and playing in such good spirits.

Netchicks and The Shooters also shared a positive game, with Netchicks finishing 17–5. There were some great moments of teamwork and defensive play from both sides.

Pivot Panthers and Rose Rockets rounded off the evening with a lively match, with Pivot Panthers finishing 23–4. Both teams brought plenty of energy to the court and kept the game enjoyable from start to finish.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Mary Murtagh from Troubleshooters, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort, consistency and impact on the game made her a standout player on the night.

With just a couple of weeks left in the season, it’s great to see everyone continuing to enjoy their netball and support each other each week. We’re looking forward to more fun, friendly games as the season comes to a close.
