Loughborough Sunday Night Netball Week 1

The eagerly anticipated Loughborough Sunday Netball League has finally kicked off, bringing an electrifying start to the new season. The competition was fierce, the energy high, and the results undoubtedly thrilling.

To kick off the new season, Trix & Shots come up against All Lough No Hate in a high spirited match which resulted in a 21-1 victory for Trix & Shots. 

The tension was high in the match between Lough Struck and Netflicks & Skills, with Lough Struck taking the win at 10-5. The scoreline does not reflect the fierce competition on the field, with both teams delivering a spectacular performance.

The Tena Ladies put up an impressive show against Luffly Ladies, securing a 17-3 victory. Their strategic gameplay and undeniable chemistry on the field were key to their success.

The first week of play saw some outstanding individual performances as well, with the most valued player title going to Hannah Brunton from Netflicks & Skills. Despite her team's loss, Brunton's impressive skill set, determination and sportsmanship did not go unnoticed, proving that individual brilliance can shine even in the face of defeat.
