Week 9 Highlights – Loughborough Sunday Netball League

Week 9 of the Loughborough Sunday Netball League brought plenty of action, great teamwork, and some cracking performances across the courts.

Netflicks & Skills took on Pass And Sass in a lively contest, with Pass And Sass coming out on top with a 12–5 win. Their slick movement and smart decision-making really paid off, helping them control the game from start to finish.

Trix & Shots put on an impressive display against Sunday Best, showing exactly why they’re such strong contenders this season. With accurate shooting and solid defending, they claimed a convincing 20–5 victory in an exciting match to watch.

Lough Struck faced Ball Handlers in another competitive fixture, securing an 11–2 win. Despite the result, Ball Handlers had plenty to be proud of, with Claire Springthorpe earning MVP of the week thanks to her standout performance, effort, and positive attitude on court — a well-deserved shout-out!

The final game of the day saw Luffly Ladies go head to head with High Hoops in a fast-paced, entertaining match. Luffly Ladies edged ahead to take the win 19–12, with both teams showing great energy and determination throughout.

As we head into Week 10, the league continues to deliver exciting games, brilliant teamwork, and lots of smiles on court. A quick reminder to all teams that this is a social league — so let’s keep things friendly, supportive, and fun, and enjoy the netball together.
