Loughborough Sunday Netball Update - Week 2

It was another great evening of netball at the Loughborough Sunday League, with week 2 bringing plenty of fun, teamwork, and positive energy on court.

Goal Diggers and Netflicks & Skills got things started with an enjoyable match, with Goal Diggers coming out on top 19-12 after a strong all-round performance.

Ball Handlers then faced Luffly Ladies, with Ball Handlers taking the win 12-4. It was a great game to watch, with both teams showing some lovely passages of play and teamwork throughout.

Lough Struck had a confident game against Sunday Best, finishing 19-5, while Trix & Shots also put in a solid performance to win 14-6 against Pass And Sass in another well-played match.

A special mention goes to Aimee Mears from Luffly Ladies, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her effort, skill, and determination really stood out and made a big impact on the game.

Top scorers this week were Goal Diggers and Lough Struck, both finishing with 19 goals – a fantastic achievement!

Overall, it was a brilliant evening filled with encouragement, great teamwork, and plenty of smiles. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone back for the next round of fixtures!
