Loughborough Sunday Netball Update - Week 14

What a great way to wrap up the Loughborough Sunday Netball League season! Week 14 brought plenty of energy, smiles and fantastic teamwork across the court, with all teams giving it their all and supporting each other throughout the evening.

In the final round of matches, Sunday Best faced Netflicks & Skills in a lively game that finished 9–4. Ball Handlers took on Pass & Sass, with Pass & Sass coming away with a 20–9 win. High Hoops and Trix & Shots played out a close and exciting match, with High Hoops just edging it 13–9. Luffly Ladies finished the night with a 12–7 win over Lough Struck.

There were some brilliant individual performances during the final week, and Kirsty Rowntree from Sunday Best was recognised as Most Valued Player of the Week thanks to her great effort, teamwork and positive impact on the court.

As the season comes to an end, a huge congratulations goes to Trix & Shots, who finished the season as league winners after a fantastic run of results. Pass & Sass also had a brilliant season and finished as well-deserved runners-up.

A special mention also goes to Sophie Smithwell, who was awarded Player of the Season for her consistently impressive performances throughout the league.

Thank you to all the teams and players who made this season so enjoyable. It’s been full of great games, friendly competition and plenty of fun on court. We can’t wait to see everyone back for the next week for the new season!
