Loughborough Sunday Netball League – Week 1 Round-Up

It was a great start to the season in Loughborough, with teams taking to the court for the first week of Sunday netball. The evening was full of energy, teamwork and plenty of encouragement from players and supporters alike.

Trix & Shots and Netflicks & Skills kicked things off with an enjoyable match, with Trix & Shots finding their rhythm to finish 13–2. Both teams showed great effort and kept the game flowing throughout.

Pass And Sass had a positive game against Lough Struck, working well together to finish 17–4. It was great to see some strong teamwork and communication across the court.

Luffly Ladies also had a great start to the season against Sunday Best, finishing 25–3. Both teams brought plenty of energy and enthusiasm, making it a fun game to watch.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Kelda Clarkson-Short from Netflicks & Skills, who delivered a fantastic performance. Her effort and impact on the court really stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.

It’s been brilliant to see everyone back enjoying their netball and creating such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. With the season just getting underway, there’s plenty more fun and social netball to look forward to in the coming weeks.
