Week two of the Saffron Walden Sunday’s Premier League brought plenty of excitement, with some fantastic netball on display and lots of great teamwork across the court.

Court Queens continued their strong start to the season with an impressive 17-4 win over All Stars, showing exactly why they’re one of the teams to watch this year. Hoop Hustlers were just as dominant, securing their own 17-4 victory against Catch You Later in another confident performance.

The match between Walden Warriors and Saffron Sweeties was a much closer affair, keeping everyone entertained right to the final whistle. After a competitive battle with the lead changing hands several times, Saffron Sweeties managed to pull ahead and take the win 11-7.

A special mention goes to Lauren Oastler from Hoop Hustlers, who was the standout player of the week. Her energy, teamwork, and excellent all-round performance played a huge part in her team’s success, earning her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player.

With several weeks still to come, the Premier League is already shaping up to be a brilliant season full of competitive matches, great sportsmanship, and plenty more exciting moments for players and supporters alike.
