Last Sunday was another delightful evening of social netball at Light Hall School, marking Week 10 of the season. Once again, the school's grounds buzzed with the welcoming atmosphere, and players of all experience levels came together for a great night of netball. The spirit of the game was celebrated as teams from the Division 1 group squared off for friendly competition, showcasing patience, dedication, and sportsmanship.

The first game saw No Direction and Spice Goals take to the court. With a final score of 14-8, No Direction finished the game with a gentle lead. Both teams exhibited exceptional teamwork and positive energy, clearly enjoying every moment of the game.

The second game featured The Evergreens and Sparks, finishing with Sparks leading 27-10. Despite the score difference, both teams showed relentless commitment, contributing to a vibrant and enjoyable game that was played in the best of spirits.

Tidbury Tornados and Shooting Stars concluded the evening's matches with a close bout, ending 9-6 in favour of Tidbury Tornados. This game was a fine display of sportsmanship with both teams supporting and encouraging each other throughout the match.

A special mention must be made of the most valued player from team Sparks. Their enthusiasm, vigour in movement around the court and positive contribution were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, underscoring the friendly and supportive nature of the league.

As we look forward to Week 11 and another evening of friendly social netball, we celebrate the camaraderie, the ways in which we're keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment.

As we reach the final week of the season, we would like to thank everyone for taking part. The season wouldn't have been the same without your participation.
