On a lovely evening at Light Hall School, the Solihull community gathered for an exhilarating Week 7 of social netball. The atmosphere was festive and inviting, with beginners and seasoned players alike coming together for a memorable night of the sport. Light Hall School was buzzing with activity, a testament to the growing love for netball within the community.

The game between Sparks and No Direction, was a showcase of teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive energy. Sparks concluded the game with a score of 24-6. Despite the score difference, the evening was not about winning or losing. It was an opportunity for players to improve their skills whilst enjoying the camaraderie of the sport. The match was played in great spirit, with each player complementing one another’s efforts. Every goal scored was celebrated and every miss was met with encouraging cheers from both teams, truly embodying the spirit of social netball.

A special shout out goes to Stacey Whelan from No Direction, who was named the Most Valued Player for the week. Her enthusiasm was palpable throughout the game, her movement around the court was dynamic, and her contribution was not just appreciated by her teammates, but also by her opponents, who admired her sporting spirit.

As we look ahead to Week 8, we are excited to welcome everyone back for another evening of friendly social netball.
